On Earth: In Honor of Living Posthumously (December 21, 2012)

We know
there’s data
that’s interpreted.
We know
there’s input
and output.
We know
the soul
is more or less
numeric
conversion.
Everything
else we know
is old
technology.
We need shelter
more than
friends.
The universe
being
the local limit
of our situation
here.
We need
shelter and friends,
food, water, time
for fucking
off
alone and
in group settings.
I’m talking
the entire
complete set
of protocols
we lay on top of
at night.
People
for example
will deny
absolutely
everything just to
not be
the last person
on Earth.
